TSR - Drive Pedal Pack 3
The TSR Drive Pedal Pack 3 is a TONEX pack containing 15 models from some more of our favourite drive and distortion pedals. While nothing like as popular as their version 1 cousins, Marshall’s The Guv’nor Plus and the later added Jackhammer pedals in the smaller “tank" style form factor were nonetheless great sounding pedals. The Stacked pots allowed a great deal of tonal control, meaning you get a lot of tonal bang from these highly underrated pedal bucks. The TC Electronic Vintage Duel Distortion is another “under the radar” gem of a distortion pedal. The Colour Filter control allows you to dial in anything from a smooth lead tone to a scooped metal chug. The Maxon OD-9 is a great alternative to the Tubescreamer-style pedals. For my money, the OD-9 sounds far more musical and has far more range of tone. The final pedal in the pack is one of our DIY pedals. The Eagle Claw is a really great “amp in a box” style pedal with 3-band EQ, again making it a very versatile pedal.
